Does God Exist?
Volney says it doesn’t matter.
It is all just an academic debate.
No one can prove God exists. No one can prove God does not exist.
Humanity is stuck on this issue. We can’t move forward. We can’t decide.
What is the solution?
Let’s consider what we can prove.
We can prove that the desire to survive is written into our bodies. We can prove we are all born with that desire. Everyone feels this desire. We run from danger. We withdraw from flame.
There is no doubt about that. Humanity is unanimous on that one single point. The universe has given to all living beings the desire to survive.
Survival of the Individual is a universal Law of Nature, just like Gravity is a universal Law of Nature.
Whether or not God exists, humans must respect that universal Law of Nature.
When humans build pyramids, they put the base on the ground and the point in the sky. Why? Because that method respects the universal Law of Nature called Gravity.
A pyramid with the base in the sky and the point in the ground will soon fail.
In the same way, when humans build organizations—including religions—they must build those organizations in conformity with the individual’s desire to survive. Otherwise, those human-created organizations are destined to fail.
